Mailing film from Nevada
How do I mail film to you from Nevada?
Start an order at fremontphotoco.com/pages/send-us-your-rolls and pick Mail In. Right after checkout we email a prepaid USPS label and a QR code. Put your rolls in any padded envelope or small box, write your order number on the outside, and either show the QR code at a USPS counter or print the label and drop it in a blue box. That's it.
How long does film developing take from Nevada?
USPS Ground Advantage from Nevada to Las Vegas usually takes local. Once your film arrives, color C-41 is same day to 3 days and black and white is 5 to 7 business days. You get an email with a download link the moment your scans are ready. Need it faster? Add 24hr Rush when you order.
Is it safe to mail undeveloped film?
Yes. Mailing film to a lab is how most film in the US gets developed. Domestic USPS mail isn't run through the CT scanners that damage film at airport security. Keep your rolls out of a hot car, pack them so they can't rattle around, and mail them within a few weeks of shooting for best results.
Do I get my negatives back?
Yes. Choose Ship Back when you order and we mail your negatives back to Nevada at no charge once your scans are done. If you don't want them, we'll hold them for a while and then recycle them.
What kind of film can I send?
35mm, 120 medium format, half-frame 35mm and disposable cameras. We process color C-41 and black and white in-house. If you have slide (E-6) or motion picture film, email us before you ship it.
Why mail film to Las Vegas instead of a lab in Nevada?
If you have a good local lab, use it. Most people in Nevada don't have one nearby anymore, and mailing to us costs the same per-roll rates we charge at our counter, plus a prepaid USPS label. We're a real storefront lab, not a mail-order warehouse, and a human looks at every frame we scan.
Ready to send your rolls?
Ordering takes two minutes. Your USPS label is in your inbox before you find a padded envelope.
